About Me

I was born and raised in Prince George, British Columbia. My track career began in the summer of my first year of high school when I qualified for the Zone 8 BC Summer Games track & field team to Victoria. I had an incredible time with the team, and the following year I joined the PG Track & Field club. With coach Rob Connors and one of the best middle distance training groups in the province, I found huge success in running, competing on several provincial teams and my first national team. Following high school I made the decision to stay in Canada for university, attending the University of Victoria. After five years at UVic I completed a degree in Biochemistry and five memorable seasons running with the varsity cross-country and track teams.

With my undergraduate schooling finished, I’m now putting my full attention towards my athletic career and the aspirations of becoming a future Canadian Olympian.

I train with the Canadian Sport Centre Pacific, in Victoria, British Columbia, under the guidance of coach Wynn Gmitroski.
